Course Objectives:   Evaluate a patient with serious burns, define magnitude and severity of burn injury, identify and establish priorities of treatment, manage the airway and support ventilation, initiate and monitor fluid resuscitation, apply correct methods of physiological monitoring, determine which patients should be transferred to a burn center and organize and conduct inter-hospital transfer of a seriously injured burn patient.

CME Credit:  The American Burn Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission (ANCC) on Accreditation. The ABA designates this continuing education activity for 7.0 continuing education credit hours.

 Course Information:   The course is limited to participants and based on a first-come, first-served basis.   Registration fee is $450.00 for physicians & $350.00 for non-physicians.  Lunch will be on your own.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Registration fee will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received 10 days or more prior to course.  Nonrefundable cancellation fee of $50.00 will be retained for any cancellation less than 10 days prior to the course.  Refunds will be given only after course materials have been returned.  No refunds or rescheduling for unexpected no-shows or cancellations less than three (3) business days prior to course.
